Founded in 2008, the Center for Continuing Legal Education at Patrick Henry College was created as a new department of the College under the leadership and guidance of Patrick Henry College founder and Chancellor Michael Farris.

His goal, which was enthusiastically endorsed by the Board of Trustees, along with school president Graham Walker, was to help educate lawyers on the most up-to-date developments and case law on vital and timely constitutional issues facing our nation in general, and the legal profession specifically, by utilizing their requisite continuing legal education credits.
